Red Raiders Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, May 21st, 2027 Ken Slaugh said the "entire Texas Tech Red Raiders organization" takes it hard when the team misses the postseason. That's the case today, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention. Texas Tech last appeared in the postseason in 2025. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 20-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Red Raiders have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
