Jayhawks Chill White's Hot Streak Wednesday, April 28th, 2027 Will White, second baseman for the Indiana Hoosiers, gave it a good try, but his day in history finally came to an end, when he went hitless in 3 tries against the Kansas Jayhawks. Not only had they stopped his 23-game hitting streak, they had beaten Indiana 10-6, too. Speaking with the media after the game, White said, "Now that the streak has ended, I admit I will breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat. It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Currently White is batting .393 with 5 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
