Harris Connects for 3 Homers for Cardinals Saturday, April 17th, 2027 It was a good day for the Louisville Cardinals and an exceptional one for Michael Harris. The 20-year-old left fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Cardinals beat the Kentucky Wildcats 13-6 at Cliff Hagan Stadium. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Harris said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats. Michael Harris grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Eric O'Gahan in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Félix Martínez in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Dominic Charette in the 9th. Thus far this season Harris has hit .367 with 9 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 17 times. |
