Wild Card Clinched by Fighting Illini Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 The Illinois Fighting Illini say they look forward to opening some eyes in the College Baseball playoffs. "Teams may look past us as we didn't win our division, but we plan to turn it up and play our best come playoffs," said reliever Pedro Luque. With a 29-21 record, the Fighting Illini have clinched a wild card position in the NCAA. Illinois will now be looking to win its 1st College Baseball championship. |
