Minnesota Out of Playoff Race Thursday, May 21st, 2026 It's an "empty" feeling for members of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, according to the club's manager. That's because the team today was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Minnesota last appeared in the postseason in 2019. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Golden Gophers have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
