Seton Hall Loses Bob Browning
Thursday, May 14th, 2026
The Seton Hall Pirates learned that Bob Browning is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn meniscus. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Seton Hall manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Bob is back in action."

This year Browning has compiled a 0-5 mark with a 6.75 ERA.
