Bowman Smacks 5 Hits for Cougars Monday, May 4th, 2026 Who needs batting practice? Thomas Bowman of Washington State apparently doesn't as he battered Auburn with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 9-6 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 6 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Thomas Bowman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. So far this year Bowman is batting .306 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
