Wiggins Goes 5-for-5 Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Florida State's Randy Wiggins told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Wiggins today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against Clemson. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Seminoles knocked off the Tigers 6-2 at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium. Randy Wiggins singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Wiggins has 13 home runs and a .525 batting average. |
