Great Stroke: Brown Gets 5 Hits Monday, April 20th, 2026 Jake Brown put on a hitting clinic today as the Wolverines dumped the Musketeers 8-7 at Ballpark of Grand Prairie College. The Michigan third baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Xavier pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch." Jake Brown singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and doubled in the 12th. This season Brown is batting .291 with 5 home runs. He has scored 17 runs and driven in 13. |
