Moore Takes Best Bat Award in May Tuesday, June 1st, 2027 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21, Arnold Moore has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Scottsdale Scorpions star can enjoy the numbers he put upin May, which have garnered him the nod as the Appalachian League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .311 average with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored. In 52 games this season Moore is batting .302 with 58 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 30 runs and driven in 36. |
