Guevara 5-for-5 for Beaverton Friday, April 16th, 2027 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Carlos Guevara today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Gentry Field and paced the Bronze Souls to a 11-5 win over the Detroit Dirty Snow. After his dynamite batting performance, the Beaverton second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Carlos Guevara hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 7th.
