Simmons Raps Nashua for 5 Hits Wednesday, August 4th, 2027 It was high-fives all around for Thomas Simmons at Dirty South Park today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Nashua Redlegs. Simmons smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 19-1 win. "Thomas was hitting everything," said Spikes manager Alonso Martínez. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Redlegs manager Bill Meisner told BNN beat writers that Simmons "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Simmons oversleeps next time." Thomas Simmons hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Keith Burns in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
