Saturday, October 16th, 2027
The future looks extremely bright for Paul Martin. At the age of 26, many players are still trying to find their way in Eastern League.

Martin has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Eastern League Outstanding Hitter Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .347 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.

The Rio Grande Rattlesnake star also put up a .465 on-base percentage this year, with 164 hits, 26 doubles, 2 triples, 33 home runs, 129 RBIs and 93 runs scored.

Armando Rodríguez of the Reading Rainbows finished second in voting, while Mitchell Oglethorpe of the Springfield Simpsons finished third.
