King Goes 5-for-5 Tuesday, July 6th, 2027 It was a great day at the plate for Ron King. For his Reading Rainbows, the day was not nearly as good. The second baseman collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Kingston Iguanas snatched the victory, topping the Rainbows by a score of 15-7. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," King said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Ron King singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ron Jenkins in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
