SNL Player of the Week Named Monday, May 17th, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Southern League, but last week Mike Davis of the BlackIron Dragons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Davis rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 3 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season in 38 games Davis is batting .281 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 121 at-bats. |
