Li Hammers 4 Homers Monday, April 12th, 2027 Nothing could stop Si-xun Li today -- certainly not the Memphis Blues pitching staff. The 25-year-old left fielder for the Beaumont Roughnecks sent 4 baseballs soaring out of Palancar Gardens and made his name a part of history. Behind his barrage, the Roughnecks took a 15-8 win over the Blues. "In the standings, a loss is just a loss, but this one was pretty frustrating," Blues manager Allen Crawfordsaid later. "He clobbered us." Li's dream game included 5 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 homers, 9 runs driven in and 5 runs scored. "I know all the stories are going to be about me today, and that's OK," Li told the press in the locker room after the game. "Next time, it'll be one of the other guys." Si-xun Li singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Bill Long in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Juan Martínez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Juan Martínez in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off António Dávila in the 7th.
