Morales Goes on Rampage Against Wranglers Wednesday, June 30th, 2027 Bernardo Morales did a number on the Wranglers in the Beaumont 17-7 victory today, and the number was 5. The Roughnecks first baseman banged out 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Wrangler Stadium to lead his club past the Wichita Wranglers. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Bernardo Morales flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off José López in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
