NWL Announces Best Player Award Thursday, October 21st, 2027 The manager of the Red Deer Wranglers said he thinks Fred Abrams is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2027 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Northwest League Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .300 batting average and a .397 on-base percentage this year. In 160 games he piled up 181 hits, 29 doubles, 9 triples, 52 home runs, 154 RBIs and 121 runs scored. John Major of the Moose Jaw Ghostbusters finished second in voting, while Benny Richard of the Culver City Extras finished third. |
