Star of the Week Honored in NWL Monday, August 16th, 2027 All week long nobody could get Pedro Mata out in the Northwest League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Riverside center fielder took home the trophy by blasting 11 hits in 22 at-bats for a .500 batting average, driving in 6 runs and scoring 5 times. In 120 games this season Mata has compiled a .347 batting average with 156 hits and 9 home runs. He has also scored 81 times and knocked in 80 runs. |
