Houston Ace Wins PCL Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, October 18th, 2027 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2027 has been presented and the Pacific Coast League winner is Jun Kawashima of Houston. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Kawashima. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hammertime star told reporters. Kawashima excelled with an impressive 18-7 record in 32 starts. In 197.2 innings he yielded 197 hits and 52 walks, while striking out 212 and compiling a fine 3.01 ERA. Millard Curtis of the Houston Hammertime finished second in voting, while Kevin Bader of the Houston Hammertime finished third. |
