Calgary Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 12th, 2027 Even the most die-hard fans of the Calgary Cowboys will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Cowboys left fielder Greg Nelson. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." Calgary last appeared in the postseason in 2012. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 20-year history. |
