Martínez Gets PCL Batter of the Month Trophy Wednesday, September 1st, 2027 For a rookie just breaking in, Luis Martínez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PCL Batter of the Month award for August. The 26-year-old first baseman for the Santa Monica Bruins hit .357 with 10 home runs, 42 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This season in 127 games Martínez is batting .331 with 33 home runs, 106 RBIs and has scored 107 times. |
