Blueville's Romero Acclaimed Best ITL Hitter Sunday, August 1st, 2027 Ricardo Romero put together a good July to earn the International League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Blueville officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The 83's third baseman posted a .328 batting average with 13 home runs, 24 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Romero is batting .280 this season in 45 games with 17 home runs, 39 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 143 at-bats. |
