The Math Says - Vista Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 29th, 2027 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Vista Panthers. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Panthers closer David Simpson. The Panthers have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 20 years as a Baseball Stars Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2021. In the last 10 seasons, the Panthers have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
