Rockets Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Sheens
The Rockets had to overcome a fine performance from St Charles pitcher Paul Adams to grab a 7-5 win at Crown Royal Stadium. Adams allowed 1 earned run over 5 innings. Gianluigi Ciottone got the win, improving to 3-2. He worked 6 innings, giving up 4 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Nassau is third in the National League Southern Division with a record of 23-23.

It could have been a different outcome for Nassau, had it not been for Pete Harvey, the three-time Gold Glove Award winner . Harvey contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Nassau up, 3-2.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Nassau skipper Juan López. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
