Royale with Cheese, Richardson Pin Bad Loss on Frenzy
The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese used an offensive barrage to beat the Niagara Falls Frenzy, 10-1, at Edmund Fitzgerald Field. David Richardson led the way, going 2-for-4 for Kalamazoo. The Frenzy fall to 9-15 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2027 season.

Flexing his muscles for Kalamazoo was the aforementioned Richardson. The right fielder had a 3-run home run in the top of the first for the Royale with Cheese. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Richardson. "Those qualities define our team."
