Marshals Get Past Maui for 3-2 Win
Houston played host to Maui at the friendly confines of Mythology Coliseum.

Houston Marshals starter Carlos Tavárez was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Maui Tropics, 3-2. The second-place Marshals have won 9 in a row.

Kent MacDulothe was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Marshals center fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Tavárez said.
