Marshals Get One-Run Win at Chicago
|
Starting pitcher Stan Aldridge pitched well enough to help the Houston Marshals beat the Chicago Machine by the score of 4-3. Aldridge picked up the win for Houston, going 6 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 10-4. Getting the save was Dave Rhodes, his 3rd.
Also making an impact was left fielder David Murray, who drilled a 2-run single in the top of the third inning for the Marshals. For the game, Murray went 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.
"We found a way to get it done," Murray said.
