Rancho Cucamonga Sick Monkeys center fielder Ed Ballard went 5-for-7 today and paced Rancho Cucamonga to a 23-3 victory over the Gilbert Fire Fighters at Fire Fighters Stadium.

"Well, that was fun," Ballard said following the game.

Ed Ballard singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
