Pocatello Boccabellas starter Osvaldo Cruz turned in a sterling performance against the St Charles Sheens, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. With the victory, the Boccabellas record now stands at 97-63.
Pocatello won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two outs and Jeff Lynn on the mound for St Charles, catcher Nick Cox hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Boccabellas fans to their feet.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said St Charles manager Jonathan Campbell. "The effort was great."
