Overlords Rodríguez Smacks 6 Hits Friday, September 18th, 2026 Players get multihit games all the time. But a 6-hit game comes around only once in a blue moon. It happened at Ballpark of Amity Gardens when Jaime Rodríguez of Palmyra scattered 6 hits all over the ballpark against the Amity Gardens Westerners. He walloped 6 hits in 6 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the Overlords get by the Westerners 31-2. In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the catcher of the Overlords said, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens... good things happen... like 6-for-6. I could get used to a lot of days like this one." Jaime Rodríguez hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. Rodríguez is currently batting .335 with 10 home runs and 49 RBIs. |
