But he did. Lee went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Rancho Cucamonga pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Rancho Cucamonga Fields, he had a career 5-for-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Punta Cana Hutias had a 20-8 victory over the Sick Monkeys. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Bob Lee singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and walked in the 9th. In his 2026 season totals, Lee has 8 home runs, .394 BA, .443 OBP, 29 RBIs and 53 runs scored. |
