Matane's Fitzgerald SL1 #1 Batter in August Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 At only 21 years of age, John Fitzgerald could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Matane Serpents, as August was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Sub League 1 Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .330 with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Thus far this season Fitzgerald has hit .344 with 4 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 27 times. |
