He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Indian Hills Voodoo. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Montoya has no saves in no relief appearances this season with a 3-3 record and 3.19 ERA. |
