Hits Galore: Holland Drills 5 Hits Thursday, July 30th, 2026 Justin Holland told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Holland of the Fremont Cyclones did against the Yellowknife Claws. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Claws, who suffered a 20-10 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." Justin Holland singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Charlie Pérez in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Holland has hit .370 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
