Ben Kearley Captures HSNL Outstanding Hitter Award
Monday, June 15th, 2026
At the age of 18, Ben Kearley of the Tulsa HS As could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2026 was good enough to win the first baseman the High School NL Outstanding Hitter Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .429 batting average this year, as well as a .520 on-base percentage. He played 40 games and racked up 70 hits, 9 doubles, 1 triple, 22 home runs, 68 RBIs and 48 runs scored.

Raymond Gibbons of the Tulsa HS As finished second in voting, while Brandon Davis of the Jackson HS Swamp Bats finished third.
