Jackson HS's Watson Down with Injury
Tuesday, May 12th, 2026
The Jackson HS Swamp Bats will have to make do without Travis Watson for 9-10 months. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Huntsville HS Wasps. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."

Checking out his season stats to date, Watson has 1 save in 18 relief appearances with a 2-2 record and 10.25 ERA.
