Pittsburgh Second Baseman Hurt Thursday, May 21st, 2026 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Henry Edwards of the Panthers knows this firsthand. He was injured against the South Carolina Gamecocks while colliding with a player at a base. Because of a torn labrum, the Pittsburgh second baseman is expected to miss 5-6 months. Edwards was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." On the season, Edwards is batting .289 with 9 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 47 games. |
