California's Martin Injured, Out of Lineup Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 Charlie Martin and the California Golden Bears got a bad break in today's game against the Red Storm as the team confirmed he will miss 5-6 months with shoulder inflammation. The Golden Bears reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch. The team doctor is confident he'll make a full recovery. This year Martin has earned no saves, worked 21.1 innings, fanned 20 hitters and recorded a 8.44 ERA. He has also put up a 1-2 won-lost mark. |
