Southern California's Jeffery Young Injured Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 "I'm frustrated right now," said Southern California starting pitcher Jeffery Young. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Trojans, that's where he will be spending 5 months. Young suffered shoulder inflammation in today's game against Oregon while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This year Young has fanned 11 in 15.1 innings and collected a 0-3 record with a 9.98 ERA. |
