PIO's Top Pitcher is González Friday, October 30th, 2026 22-year-old Jesús González of the Salem Sledgehammers put together a good year in 2026 for such a young player. González was named today as the winner of the Pioneer League Outstanding Pitcher Award. González crafted an impressive 12-10 record and a 2.13 ERA. In 194 innings he allowed 139 hits, struck out 255, and walked 54. Carlos Morán of the Salem Sledgehammers finished second in voting, while Luis Ramírez of the Surrey Sinners finished third. |
