Great Week for Salem's Nathan Frey Monday, August 24th, 2026 So far in his young career, Nathan Frey has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pioneer League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Salem Sledgehammers left fielder hit at a torrid .526 clip as he collected 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Frey is presently batting .292 with 11 home runs, 62 runs scored and 50 RBIs. His OBP is .467. |
