Spikes Pitching Ravaged by Bartlett Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 The Assassins whipped the Spikes 15-10 at The Guild and Al Bartlett had a big hand in the win. The Assassins right fielder came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Bartlett and a tough day for State College. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Bartlett delivered today -- 5-for-5 is outstanding in any league. Al Bartlett doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI triple in the 7th. So far this season Bartlett is batting .261 with 6 home runs, 56 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 80 hits in 306 at-bats, 94 walks and a .434 OBP. Bartlett has played in 95 games. |
