Nantucket Center Fielder APL's Best Batter in June Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 Even though he is a newcomer to Appalachian League, Cory Campbell put up some good numbers in June and earned the APL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Nantucket's offensive leaders with a .322 average in 28 games. He also racked up 3 home runs, 18 RBIs, and 31 runs scored. This year Campbell has socked 80 hits in 263 at-bats for a .304 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .517 pace and his totals also include 45 RBIs and 66 runs scored. |
