Caraballo Swings for the Cycle Saturday, September 5th, 2026 Some days you have a great game and your team wins... and sometimes you have a great game and your team loses. That's what happened to José Carlos Caraballo of the Grey Sox. Today the 21-year-old Montgomery center fielder had a great day at the plate. He hit for the cycle by pounding out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, had 1 run batted in and scored 3 runs, but his club came out on the wrong end of the score and lost to the Athens Assassins 4-3. José Carlos Caraballo singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Kieron Lahyani in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year Caraballo is batting .292 with 12 home runs. |
