Thrash Holds Dragons Scoreless Thursday, June 25th, 2026 Aaron Thrash of the West Virginia Power was on fire against BlackIron. He shut them down 2-0 on 1 hit and no runs with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Thrash said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." Thus far this season, Thrash has worked 140.2 innings with 157 strikeouts en route to a 7-8 record and a 3.84 ERA. |
