NWL Player of the Week Goes to García of Bismarck Monday, June 22nd, 2026 Roberto García punched, poked and pummeled the baseball last week and today he garnered a majority of the votes for the Northwest League Player of the Week award. The Bismarck Barons catcher slashed out a .538 average with 14 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs and 16 RBIs. For the season García is currently batting .273 with 8 home runs and 31 RBIs. In 53 games he has reached base at a .394 rate and scored 30 runs to date. |
