Hitting Streak Still Alive for Cortéz Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 Rollers right fielder Enrique Cortéz was beaming today after his team had beaten Portland 10-1 at East End Park. He had contributed 2 hits to the victory and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Life is good when the hits keep coming like they have in the last few weeks. I hope I can keep it up a little while longer." Enrique Cortéz flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 9th and struck out in the 9th. Thus far this year Cortéz is batting .359 with 16 home runs, 85 RBIs and 96 runs scored. |
