Hill on Fire: 5-for-5 for Madison Saturday, July 18th, 2026 It was a sensational day at the plate for Robin Hill as he led the charge to a 7-3 win over the Beavers. The Madison center fielder was pure misery for the Baffin Island pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the Beavers told BNN reporters after the game, "Hill put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Robin Hill singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, tripled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season Hill is batting .348 with 72 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 32 times and has 22 RBI. |
