CL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Thursday, October 1st, 2026 Youngster Dave Parker emerged as the latest Continental League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Kansas City deserved the honor, batting .340 with 5 home runs and 14 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Parker enjoy the limelight. Parker is hitting .269 this year with 32 home runs, 81 RBIs and 71 runs scored. He has 155 hits in 576 at-bats, 42 walks and a .323 on-base percentage. Parker has played in 153 games. |
